I have been using the mezzaluna for chopped salad and pesto mainly. But the reason I thought of it is because I broke my right wrist and was concerned about my strength using a knife. The mezzaluna is very stable since I can use both hands. It’s so easy and the food doesn’t jump around on the cutting board. I thought it might be overkill but it’s perfect!
Safe and good quality

What a pleasure to use this well-crafted utensil! I highly recommend the Bold Bee mezzaluna for its being able to gain control over foods that are otherwise resistant to being cut or sliced, such as pizza, bread loaves and dense vegetables and fruits.

The quality of this was amazing. Sliced through my produce well and will be a long-lasting tool in my kitchen. Added bonus of the companies desire for recyclable products and reusable items.
Got this for Hubby who has been having wrist issues.
He couldn't wait to use it.
We'll have to see how well the blade holds an edge

I got this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. He is a chef at a high end restaurant and took it with his. He likes that it’s a bit smaller then usual ones because it’s easier for cutting vegetables and such and he likes the metal soap that came with it he thinks it’s really cool.
Thrilled with this item. I use it to chop/mince herbs. It makes it so fast and easy. Leo works great to cut lettuce and greens.
My husband has complained about cutting pizza for years. We have even purchased one or two other styles of pizza cutters with the hopes of alleviating his frustration. This pizza cutter finally solved the problem! It is easy to use and cuts the entire pizza with ease! Just a couple of rocks of this cutter and it’s done. The double hand holds help make it comfortable to use as well. And being a solid piece, it is easy to clean. It also Has the plastic blade cover, which I appreciate using while it’s stored.
I used to work at Chopt salad company and decided to get this knife to chop salads at home. Works great!

I got this for someone who eats pizza all the time, and I was getting sick of watching them cut it with a knife like some kind of barbarian. This is super easy to use and cuts well.
I have wanted a mezzaluna for a long time. I'm glad I waited and got this larger one. The seller was very helpful in answering questions and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from him again. The larger mezzaluna minces herbs from my garden nicely, but it also does more. I use it daily. It is quite sharp and that is good for mincing and rough chopping. The little cover requires some finesse and pressure to apply and remove. I can see a slip of the hand causing injury. I mounted another magnetic strip to the side of the cabinets over my sink and hang it there for storage. It is safer and easily accessible. I'm glad I have the little sleeve, though; I have appropriated it for tracing designs on my artwork.

Feels nice making my own ground beef, works faster than a cleaver.

The billions of bees that have died in the last decade alone has been catastrophic. A large part of our business is about bringing awareness to all of our little life-bringers and propagators who toil away selflessly and endlessly to help this planet thrive, only to be killed off by changes in climate, parasites, and over a dozen different synthetic pesticides that have permeated their environments.
We will be donating a percentage of all profits to bee charities across North America, the primary goal being to study Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) on a macro level, in better efforts to understand and combat it. To learn more about CCD, please click here.
